Ashes - day 4

So England crumbled at the end, just as we all secretly suspected they would. And, according to the Aussies, Australia should have romped home even more comprehensively than they did. To make things worse for those of us who support the underdog, Sri Lanka are taking a firm grip on their second match against the West Indies.

harsh but fair.

Quite frankly Mike I hope that Sri Lanka absolutely thrash the WIndies. It's the least that the WIndies deserve for trying to break the players union (there's the old socialist in me coming out). Sending a 2nd string side is offensive, but if they didn't they'd be up for a multi-million $ fine (although, interestingly, the host nation can cancel with no financial implication - as India keep doign to Bangladesh).
