The alternative cricket awards

While last night's official awards were underway the Beige Brigade conducted their own awards ceremony. I have linked to the Cricinfo coverage, because the Brigade's own coverage is sometimes a little obtuse. I like to think it must have been because of all the champagne they were supping in whichever expensive venue the awards ceremony was conducted.

i'm shocked with bracewell's selections and smartass policies. he really comes across as a fathead egotist who makes the US president seem like a reasonable man.
sinclair was superb on debut, real authority at the crease. now share the same fate as vincent's.
why has nzcc been such a shithouse since the 90s?? players like mcmillan, doull, tuffey, heath davis, even cairns...so many careers mishandled.

i guess the nzcc in the 80s must have been a real smart bunch.

Ha ha! Obtuse? We'll give you bloody obtuse - dull-witted? Obscure is okay. Obfuscated, but not obtuse...keep up the good work.
