Following up on Mike's report on the county championship averages of New Zealanders and Craig Spearman, I have compiled the averages for the limited over competitions:

None of you Kiwi's have really stood out as match winners over herethis season. Scott Styris always seems to be in the runs and wickets though. Expect Middlesex to want to hang onto him.

I think that's a fair comment, though Marshall had a damn good season in the County Championship.

It would seem to me though that just about all the Kiwis did well enough to hope to be retained by their counties.

"New Zealanders and Craig Spearman"? Is that some kind of dig at Craig - or some kind of dig at the selectors which forced him to seek his fortune in England?
