A place for me to indulge my passion for New Zealand cricket, post those stories that don't make the back pages of the morning paper and discuss cricket with my friends.
The blog now has a filter to get rid of those nasty spam comments. Sadly it means you have to go through an extra step if you want to post a comment, but please don't let that put you off.

Mike,
Firstly my apologies, I have no comment to make but also no idea how else to contact you. What I would like to try and find is a few New Zealand cricket fans who are planning to go to the cricket world cup in 2007.
England & New Zealand are drawn in the same group and short of complete disaster should finish first and second. However that will not be known until the completion of the Group stage when tickets for the Super 8 stage will be sold out. Whilst I have nothing against New Zealand I dont really want to spend 3 weeks in the West Indies watching New Zealand games, and I am sure New Zealand fans would feel like wise. Therefore if one group of people were to buy tickets for the venues where the winners will play and the others for the runners up a suitable exchange could take place once the outcome of the group stages become known. Obviously if disaster were to strike a Kenyan or Canadian cricket shirt may be required.
We have a party of 8 planning to travel, probably for the last 3 weeks in April.
Hope you can help and hope your all enjoying the lesson were giving the Aussies at the moment.
No worries. Ben has spent years trying to get me to go to the World Cup in the Windies and I would love to go. Sadly I think Ben's spanking new baby might put paid to those plans and I might struggle to persuade many others to go. Anyone?

I'm put off by rumours that we'll be contractually obliged to play one of our pool matches in Guantanamo Bay.
