An interview in Zone Cairns
In this morning's Herald Michelle Hewitson has a lengthy and somewhat odd interview with Chris Cairns. I am guessing Michelle must be a Gen X journo or even younger, because there is a tone of irony through-out the interview and it doesn't quite work.

She certainly is not Gen X or younger. she's an old media hack who gently pulls the rug out from under most of her subjects in her weekly back page Weekend Herald profiles. As you say - not as clever to read as she would like to think...a bit smarmy and full of smart-arsery...
