Records, records, records

The Black Caps website has a nice breakdown of the records broken by the New Zealand team during those frenetic two days in Harare.

But the article says "Their previous best was in 2001/02 against England at Jade Stadium when they made 423. That was the day Nathan Astle scored a double century."

Ooops. Fixed.

Now that day where they scored 423 was a great day. Coming so close to an improbably victory over England was beautiful. That batting was some of the cleanest hitting you'll see not done by Adam Gilchrist. I recalled that glorious day when England almost lost another match from certain victory earlier this week.
