A place for me to indulge my passion for New Zealand cricket, post those stories that don't make the back pages of the morning paper and discuss cricket with my friends.

G'day Mike!
I am writing to you about www.caughtbehind.com and your possible involvement in it. Let me begin by giving you a background on what our website is about and what we hope to achieve by this and where you ultimately fit into this picture.
CaughtBehind.com is visioned to be the world's first ever cricket superblog; that is a combination of the most outstanding cricket bloggers of each of the cricket-playing nations in the world. Right now, this is a vision but we plan to implement this vision and begin services within fifteen business days time. Apart from the superblog, we have also just setup a forum at www.caughtbehind.com/forum (which you are cordially invited to join).
You, along with other leading cricket bloggers in the world have been contacted in recognition of your great work with blogging cricket and an invitation to join us at caughtbehind.com..I mean as a regular reader of mikeoncricket, I personally do not believe anyone in this world is more capable and knowledgable to blog about Kiwi cricket in specific and World Cricket from an New Zealand perspective.
You may ask - "What's in for me? What do I get? I have a perfectly successful blog..." -- What's in for you is that you get to be an integral part of this new revolution in cricket blogging, while bringing A LOT of extra mileage to your own blog.. With each post you make, you are allowed to link back to your blog; for regular visitors of our site to go to your blog for more detailed information and extra posts. For our site, you will be allowed to post less frequently and only post OPINIONS rather than NEWS which is what our site is all about - OPINIONS. And besides, there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for you to lose in this process; all you have to do is copy and paste some articles that you would anyways be posting on your site and post it on ours here too...
In addition to this, you will receive miscellaneous benefits such as your own @caughtbehind.com e-mail ID, your own subdomain for New Zealand-related posts (http://nz.caughtbehind.com) and you will also enjoy "Moderator" priviliges on the Caught Behind forums... In other words, we are sending across an official invitation from caughtbehind.com to become a member of our team as the New Zealand Cricket Correspondent!
Your duties involve nothing but copying and pasting of some of your opinions that you would post on your website and post it on our website, and watch the profile of your blog grow!
The website is in a development stage but I encourage you to sign up by going to this link --> http://caughtbehind.com/blog/wp-login.php and creating a username for yourself... I will later upgrade your username to author status...
Good luck blogging!
Cheers mate!
I would appreciate a response at
webmaster@caughtbehind.com
Cheers!
who's this lance hamilton fella?stock or strike? i recall hearing his name somewhere but duz he fill fans with hope?
Lance Hamilton is a left-armer. He played a few ODIs for NZ, but had a case of the jitters and didn't do that well - but I don't think he really has (had) the pace to cut it at the international level anyway.
