In my last poll I asked you what you wanted most for Christmas. The majority of you (7 of 13) were of one mind - you wanted a fit Shane Bond. One of you thought a new opening batsman was a more pressing need. Three of you didn't care which players were involved, as long as they won a test match against Australia. Two of you just wanted to see some cricket that wasn't going to be interrupted by the weather before the tsunami made your votes tragically redundant.
My new poll asks you which of the Australians' you would most like to see on the end of a Shane Bond bouncer.

C'mon, it's gotta be Gilchrist for his holier-than-thou attitude to walking while a procession of New Zealanders fell to poor umpiring. His smirks as he watched the big-screen replays got further up my nose than anything an Australian has done since Greg Matthews' walk back from the boundary rope he stood on in catching Richard Hadlee, pleading with the umpires to give him the wicket.
Ricky Ponting. He seems so cocky and I envy him so much because he has inherited such a great team from Steve Waugh - he just has to snap his fingers and things happen.
Altho he is a really good hooker and puller
