John Bracewell likes Andre Adams
Something for Karl and Dan. I know what big Andre Adams' fans you are, and I am sure you will be pleased to find that John Bracewell is a big fan too.

I'd suggest that Adams' self-belief issues may be to do with a high level of self-awareness, i.e. he's a pie-chucker and knows it.
Bracewell built his reputation by taking some shitty cricketers at Glouscester and turning them into a match-winning team of cricketers who are still mostly pretty shitty. If building a team is what he wants to do, then I say we should let him do it.
The scenario reminds me a little bit of premiership football. Sometimes you see small clubs with a small pool of players trying to compete by blowing all their cash on one super-talented star. Those teams never do so well as the ones which don't bother and which simply try to build a good team environment amongst the players they already have. Would you rather see a New Zealand team with a disruptive influence like Shoaib Akhtar, or without?
I would rather, however, have Shoaib bowling in my team than Sinclair batting. I think the disruption he would cause would be worth the impact he would have on results.
